This privacy and data policy (“Privacy Policy”) applies and has effect in respect of all of our software clients for competitive gaming, related online services (including online network play connectivity and interactivity) and other software and products made available by us (together the “Clients“), as well as any other online features relating to our business including our website at www.huntapp.gg ( the “Websites”), any mailing lists we operate (the “Mailing List”). Together the Clients, the Website, and Mailing List are referred to as the “Online Services”.

When users submit their own User Content to the any of our chat functionality, this content may contain personal and non-personal information. This could include information in or about the User Content, such as the location of a photo or the date a file was created, or anything else a user decides to communicate using these parts of our Online Services.
We will use information about you (including Basic Information, Registration Information, Optional Information, Analytics and User Content) for delivering our Online Services to you under the terms of use agreed between us. The processing of information in this way is necessary for us to record the outcome of competitions you enter, your ranking and performance, and to ensure the Clients deliver the features promised and function properly, so that you have the best experience when using any one of our Clients or otherwise use the Online Services.
We may process information about you (including Basic Information, User Content, Registration Information and Analytics) so that we can analyse and improve our Online Services.
This processing is also necessary for us to pursue our legitimate interests of ensuring that our Online Services function properly so that you and other users have the best experience when any of our Clients are using the other Online Services; improving the quality of our Online Services, and providing a better experience to our users; and identifying and correcting any bugs in the Clients and Online Services.
We may process Contact Information so that we are able to properly respond to your enquiries and support requests via the Support Centre and we may process Forum Information so you are able to use the Forums, in accordance with the terms of use agreed between us.
We may process Mailing List Information to make suggestions and recommendations to you about competitions and services that may interest you, to provide you with information about other similar services we offer, and to notify you about changes to our Clients or the services we provide.
We use Attribution Information to understand which third parties have referred users to us. We process this information to pursue our legitimate interests of acquiring new users for our Clients and understanding the success of our marketing efforts.
We process personal data for our legitimate interests of preventing cheating by players using our Client and ensuring that any use of the Online Services is lawful and non-fraudulent, does not disrupt the operation of our services, does not harass our staff or other individuals, to enforce our legal rights and to comply with our legal obligations. Where we reasonably believe that you are cheating or may be in breach of any applicable laws or our terms of use, we may use your personal information to inform relevant third parties such as your law enforcement agencies about the content.
You may not copy, download, or embed any User Content without the express written permission of the content owner. You may not use any User Content for any commercial purposes, or any public performances.
A cookie is a text file placed onto your device when you access our Online Services. We use cookies and other online tracking devices such as web beacons, and flash object storage to deliver, improve and monitor our Website and Clients, including in the following ways:

We work with third parties who may also set cookies on our Website, for example Google Analytics, Facebook, Twitter, Twitch, Discord and YouTube, which we use to display video content, enable social networking functionality and sharing, and to monitor how visitors use our Clients and Website. These third party suppliers are responsible for the cookies they set on your device.

Group members, personnel, suppliers or subcontractors: We keep your information confidential, but may disclose it to any member of our group our personnel, suppliers or subcontractors in so far as it is reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. However, this is on the basis that they do not make independent use of the information, and have agreed to safeguard it.
Merger or acquisition: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via, account message and/or a prominent notice on our website of any change in ownership or uses of this information, as well as any choices you may have regarding this information. In the event that Hunt, or some or all assets related to the Hunt Services are acquired by or merged with a third party entity or in connection with a contemplated change of ownership transaction, we reserve the right, in any of these circumstances, to transfer or assign the information that we have collected from users as part of that merger, acquisition, sale, or other change of control event, including in the course of diligence.
Required by law: In addition, we may disclose your information to the extent that we are required to do so by law (which may include to government bodies and law enforcement agencies); in connection with any legal proceedings or prospective legal proceedings; and in order to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights (including providing information to others for the purposes of fraud prevention).
Enforcement: We may also disclose your personal information to third parties in order to enforce or apply the terms of agreements, to investigate potential breaches, or to protect the rights, property or safety of HUNT, our customers, or others.
Aggregated or Non-identifiable Data: We may also share aggregated or non-personally identifiable information with our partners or others for business purposes.
If you do not wish to receive promotional or other marketing material from us or third parties then you can opt-out by clicking unsubscribe in any of our communications, changing your account settings in the Online Services at any time. Alternatively, you can contact us via at support@huntapp.gg and let us know that you no longer wish to receive promotional or other marketing material from us or third parties.
You have the following rights over the way we process personal data relating to you, asset out in the table below. We aim to comply without undue delay, and within one month at the latest.

User Content is retained indefinitely. If you would like us to delete your User Content that you have posted, please let us know by sending an email to support@huntapp.gg.
We believe that users should be treated equally no matter where they are, and so we are making the following options to control your data available to all users, regardless of their location. You can update certain information by accessing your profile via “Settings.” You can also unsubscribe from certain emails by clicking the “unsubscribe” link they contain.
Individuals in California, the European Economic Area, Canada, Costa Rica and some other jurisdictions outside the United States have certain legal rights to obtain confirmation of whether we hold personal data about them, to access personal data we hold about them (including, in some cases, in portable form), and to obtain its correction, update, amendment or deletion in appropriate circumstances. They may also object to our uses or disclosures of personal data, to request a restriction on its processing, or withdraw any consent, though such actions typically will not have retroactive effect. They also will not affect our ability to continue processing data in lawful ways.
If you would like to submit a data access request, you can do so by sending an email to privacy@huntapp.gg requesting to download your data. We will then start the process and provide you a link to access the personal data that Hunt has on you within 30 days.
In addition to the functionality available through the “Settings” of the Services, in which you can correct, update, amend, or delete certain personal data, you can also request other modifications from us directly. Please write us at privacy@huntapp.gg with the words “Personal Data Request” in the subject or body of your message, along with an explanation of what data subject right you are seeking to exercise. For your protection, we may take steps to verify identity before responding to your request.
You have a right to ask us to stop using or limit our use of your personal data in certain circumstances—for example, if we have no lawful basis to keep using your data, or if you think your personal data is inaccurate.
Hunt offers you the ability to restrict the processing of your data for specific uses, please write us at privacy@huntapp.gg with the words “Processing of your Data” in the subject or body of your message, along with an explanation of what data subject right you are seeking to exercise. Individuals in the European Economic Area have the right to opt out of all of our processing of their personal data for direct marketing purposes. You may also click the “unsubscribe” link in any of our marketing emails. The rights and options described above are subject to limitations and exceptions under applicable law. In addition to those rights, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority. However, we encourage you to contact us first, and we will do our very best to resolve your concern.
You may provide us with ideas for new products or modifications to existing products, and other unsolicited submissions (collectively, “Unsolicited Information”). All Unsolicited Information shall be deemed to be non-confidential and we shall be free to reproduce, use, disclose, and distribute such Unsolicited Information to others without limitation or attribution.
If you are under 13 years of age, then please do not use or access the Hunt services at any time or in any manner. Protecting the privacy of young children is especially important. For that reason, Hunt does not knowingly collect or maintain personal information (as defined by the United States Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act) from persons under 13 years-of-age. If Hunt learns that personal information of persons under 13 has been collected on or through the Hunt Services, Hunt will take appropriate steps to delete this information.
If you are the parent or legal guardian of a child under 13 who has become a Hunt Services member, then please contact Hunt at support@huntapp.gg to have that child’s account terminated and personal information deleted.
For residents of the EEA and residents of Brazil where the processing of personal information is based on consent, Hunt will not knowingly engage in that processing for users under the age of consent established by applicable data protection law. If we learn that we are engaged in that processing with such users, we will halt such processing and will take reasonable measures to promptly remove applicable information from our records.
This Privacy Policy applies only to the Services. The Services may contain links to other web sites not operated or controlled by us (the “Third Party Sites”). The policies and procedures we described here do not apply to the Third Party Sites. The links from the Services do not imply that we endorse or have reviewed the Third Party Sites. We suggest contacting those sites directly for information on their privacy policies.
Hunt uses a variety of managerial, technical, and physical measures to protect the integrity and security of your information. These measures may vary based on the sensitivity of your information. However, no security precautions or systems can be completely secure. We cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to Hunt, and you do so at your own risk. We cannot guarantee that such information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards.
The company servers are based in the United States. No matter where you are located, you consent to the processing and transferring of your information in and to the U.S. and other countries. The laws of the U.S. and other countries governing data collection and use may not be as comprehensive or protective as the laws of the country where you live.
We reserve the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time and from time to time without prior notice. Please review this policy periodically, and especially before you provide any information. This Privacy Policy was last updated on the date indicated above. Your continued use of the Services after any changes or revisions to this Privacy Policy shall indicate your agreement with the terms of such revised Privacy Policy.
